Please read and remember the following Do's & Dont's pertaining to your uniforms.

  • Always be sure you have a badge or badge patch on your outer garment.
  • Always wear your belt - it is a required part of your uniform.

The Dont's

  • Never wear a baseball cap that is not an NOPP cap. No exceptions!
  • Never wear a tie with your short sleeve shirt.

Accessory Locations

Collar Brass

These are the pins that say N.O.P.P. These are to be worn straight up the center of the collar about 1/2 inch from the bottom. Make sure they are right side up. (If you flip them up to look at them on you, they should appear upside down)

Badge

The badge is to be worn only on the left side of your chest. It should be pinned through the reinforced badge eyelets only. Pinning through the shirt where there is no reinforcement can cause the material to tear.

Name Tag

The name tag is to be worn on the right side of your chest one inch above the top of the pocket. Nowhere else is acceptable.

Rank Pins

Rank Pins are to be worn 2 1/2 inches from the buttons on the epaulets. Corporal and Sergeant stripes should be worn point facing towards the button.

Tie Clip

The tie clip should be worn between the third and fourth button going down. The bottom of the clip should be just inside your shirt to prevent the tie from moving around too much.
